Overview
WHO:
Kids ages 5-17 with parents that are attending PuzzolCon.
WHAT:
Kids 5-13 years old will learn to make an escape room and then put it into action.
Kids 14-17 years old will learn to make an escape room and also help the younger children with the execution of the escape room as “Junior Counselors”.
Parents and other attendees will have a chance to play the escape room created by the kids on Wednesday (9/17/25).
WHEN:
Simulateously with PuzzolCon on September 15-17, 2025.
WHERE:
Same venue as PuzzolCon (The Westin Memphis Beale Street Hotel)

Monday, September 15th:
- 8:00PM - 10:00PM - Kid Hang Out During Conference Mixer
Tuesday, September 16th
& Wednesday, September 17th:
- 8:30AM - 12:00PM - Morning Session
- 12:00PM - 2:00PM - Lunch Break With Parents
- 2:00PM - 5:15PM - Afternoon Session

What will a Junior Counselor (ages 14-17) do?
1. Camper Supervision
- Assist in monitoring campers to ensure their safety and well-being at all times.
- Help maintain order during activities and free time.
- Ensure campers follow camp rules and guidelines.
- Assist with Drop Off and Pick Up times.
- Assist in organizing, setting up, and leading camp activities such as games, arts and crafts,and team-building exercises.
- Encourage participation and enthusiasm among campers.
- Help clean up after activities and prepare materials for the next sessions.
- Serve as a positive role model for campers, demonstrating good behavior, responsibility, and teamwork.
- Promote inclusivity and ensure all campers feel welcome and valued.
- Act as a liaison between campers and staff or camp directors, reporting any concerns or issues.
- Help to ensure the appropriate parents/guardians are updated on their child’s activities.
- Assist younger or less experienced campers with participating in activities.
- Be approachable and available for campers who need support or guidance.
- Work closely with staff to ensure activities run smoothly.
